Beading, chocolate, Nutritional Science lol (yes, scarily enough :D )! More but I don't feel like listing them.

I .. -hate- .. feet!

My other half. Life just isn't the same.

Mississippi!!

I'd like to stay a secret, like walking in the dark. If no one knows you, no one cares, and no one breaks your heart. (I can't remember where I heard that, it's just stuck with me since.)

Wasa Crispbread (or Rye). I've been informed that it tastes like cardboard lol. But! If you add a little avacado on it, or something else.. It's great!

I used to work in an office, and had a really really really large addiction to suits and shoes. Since moving to the middle of no where, I'm addicted to jeans and t-shirts. Flipflops are one of my best friends!

I have an insane addiction to Vampire Novels. Right now.. my nose is currently stuck in every J.R. Ward book that comes out. I love her!

Aside from beading, I've been learing to crochet! I've slowly been getting better.. at least things aren't forming triangles anymore! :D

I'm from this little tiny town, in the middle of nowhere. I live waaaay out in the middle of a national forest, town is 26 miles away. It gets.. extremely quiet and boring out here. Beading is like therapy. Doesn't matter how crazy my world is, I sit down with some beads and some wire and everything goes away. :-D It's my coffee.

I love to make sets! Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets.. etc. The sets don't have to be full sets. Sometimes I make double bracelet sets and then add earrings. But usually, anything I make comes in a set. (Unless I run out of a particular bead!)

Oddly, I have this fascination for contrasting beads. They don't have to make a perfect pattern, they can be a bit different. Sometimes, I just want to crazy colors together and somehow, I make them work. I can't say I have a favorite style of beading because I love just about everything.

Sometimes, I'll be sound asleep in the middle of the night, and DREAM about a design for a jewelry set. As soon as I wake up the next morning, I'm making it. Aside from that, I make what I like. :-)

Don't overwhelm yourself. You don't have to make your stuff look like everyone else's. Creativity is the key and it's supposed to be fun! So above all else, just enjoy yourself and what your doing.

Somewhere, with LOTS of sunlight. I like to sit right in front of a window usually with a light on overhead also. That way, I can see how best the beads I'm working with catch the light.

I'll admit it. I'm a totally Hobby Lobby fan. I rarely order them offline, I even more rarely go to Michaels. If I'm not getting my beads from HL, people have given them to me or I've cut them up off something else and re-used them.

Oh where to start. The first thing I ever remember beading was those one big chunky plastic beads. I think I was about 12 at the time. I remember being extremely frusterated because I wanted to make a bracelet that had gummy bears on it.. but my gummies just kept falling off. (This was long before I knew about polymer clay.) I wanted it so that it could go with my candy necklace, which also had a big huge heart on it.. of course, made of candy. In the end.. I think I got to wear my gummy bear bracelet for fall of.. oh.. 20 minutes before my niece.. (she's only 9 years younger then I am.) talked me into letting her eat it. I think it was more the fact that I knew I could do it.. somehow if I just set my mind to it. Ever since then, I love beading with just about anything! I'll admit though, I haven't tried candy since!
