I love to bead things that sparkle. When I was a little girl I use to string beads and I also had a loom but once I finished weaving the beads I didn't know how to finish it off. I made my daughter dresses and skating dresses when she was little I would sew beads on appliquues and I would sew and glue crystals on her figure skating dresses. I just love pearls and any kind of beads or crystals that sparkle. I also went to school for a while when my kids were small to be a gemologist but I wasn't able to finish as my kids took up all of my time.

Right now my current beading project is making my daughter's wedding veil. I am currently having a friend help me to make a pattern to match the pattern on her wedding gown. I have everything except for the seed beads, swarvoski crystals,rhinestones and pearls. Once that is done I can begin to make it. I am very anxious to get started on it.

I love delicate pendants on a chain and I like pearls, swarvoski crystals, rhinestones, and pearls. I love vintage style jewelry. Or anything that is delicate looking. I love putting delicate beading on dresses or blouses etc. I like anything that is very feminine.

Sometimes from looking at and applique.Other times at other women's jewelry. Going to my friend who is a jeweler and owns his own business. I also like looking a gem shows, magazines, internet, BBD forum, and seeing the work of other friends who do bead work. Also the local bead shop and club that I am starting.

When I was around 10. I got some seed beads and used a needle, thread and elastic to spring beads to where to school. Also sewing beads on my daughter's first dress. It took me 2 months to make it when she was a baby but I taught myself how to sew.Then when I made her first figure skating dress and put swarvoski crystals on it.

I am a 52yr. old woman. I am married to my husband for 29yrs. and I have 2 children. My son is 24 and my daughter is 21 and my future son-in-law who is 21. I like his family as well they moved here from Australlia 11 yrs. ago. They are all dear to me. I have a brother that is older then me and his wife and my father who is 89 and who's health is failing. I also have a stepmother who is very dear to me as well. I have been throught breast cancer 2x and they were completely different cancers so I am limited in what I can do. My husband also has had a spinal fusion in his back so he is limited as well. I have some little dogs and a cat. I am a stay at home mom. I am a born again christian as well. I am a very tendered hearted person and some people say that I have my heart on my sleeve. I love to help people in any way if I can. I will always try to help someone in need. I have made some very dear friends by doing that. Alot of people have told me that I have a servant's heart. I love to make new friends. I lost my mother when I was 28yrs. old. She was a diabetic and I still miss her terribly.
