I love the tactile pleasure and the combination of colors, textures, sparkle and matte beads.

I love the projects using inexpensive, easily found seed, cube, drop, triangle, etc. beads. I have tons of them in my stash and being able to just grab what I need when I get a new pattern and sit down to make it is the best.

Usually from bead magazines. But I also love the challenge of seeing something in a catalogue and thinking, "I can do that!".

I used to get together with the other moms in my neighborhood and one of them did a lot of beading while I knit away. She finally decided that she was going to teach me when I had praised her work for the 100th time. I made a bracelet and then went to the local bead store and bought everything I needed to make more.

Mom of 3 kids, one at home, one at college and one (sorta adopted) in Korea. Also, husband, two dogs, two cats, three parakeets. I'm busy.
