I have loved beads since I was 13. I think they are one of the most versatile media and I absolutely love creating things out of beads. Beading actually pre-dates cave painting in age (of art forms discovered on the earth). And you can find some type of beading or similar personal adornment almost everywhere in the world.

Practically everywhere, but especially geometric forms and 3D geometry (platonic solids). i enjoy my bead books and magazines but it's rare that I complete a project from them. I save photos from the internet all the time (the pics on Bead Ad Infinitum are amazing) but they are saved to give me creative spark when I think my "fire's gotten too cool".

Always take your beads and a sketchbook or notebook with you wherever you go. You never know when a great design idea will hit you.
