Hi!

Lexi, sorry for not responding to you sooner. Unfortunately, someone had hacked into my computer, and I just recently purchased myself a Lap Top. I'm still getting use to operating this thing, and think I'm okay. MMMM!!!! Anyway, I'm also getting ready to connect to the visual stuff. I'm still learning my way around this thing.

After reading your response, I felt a bit guilty. Mainly, because you seem to be (so to speak) "Meeting yourself coming and going". What a schuedule you manage. Kudos to you, fair lady!!!! As for me, I'm getting ready to reach out on my own, and this has mustered up alot of courage. I'm sixty-four (64), so change is always difficult. Ha! Ha! This does not mean no possible -- a la contraire!!!!! I am a jewelry designer, and have studied for a number of years. Matter of fact, I'm still studying. Ahem! Today, I signed up for a Wire Sculpting Class (Preston Reuther?) I believe that is the name of the ticket. It has been a program which held my interest for some time now, and the price was right -- like over $300 cheaper. In the past studied Jewelry Smithing, way back when my son was very little, and was carrying my daughter. They are both grown up now, with lovely children of their own -- so that should put an actual date on that. This studying, even though so long ago, gave me an edge on being able to work with wire. I just love Jewelry Design, and have sold some of my creations, by being commissioned. For the past eight (8) years, I have studied beading, with my Guru (Jacqui). Unfortunately, due to the economy, she sold out to a few gals from our classes. Still do attend, and will do so, that is until June. My dear, young friend will be graduating from College (and getting married). Since she will not be there anymore, will move on at that time. We will still be able to get together for beading and creating. Currently, I'm finishing off a crack-a-jack spiral necklace, and have created the cabachon from a wooden disk. Yes, I am a fine artist, and do some in these -- not only as miniature pallettes, but also wood-burned. My (in between venture) is polymer clay, and I recently purchased a vibratory tumbler on the internet. Met a gal at class, whom shared so much information to me, which enabled me to find the one I wanted. In addition to that, am doing some pallettes on canvas, which will be incorporated into stained glass pendants. I'm so psyched -- Why one would think that I didn't have a life!!! I do, Lexi, it's my Love of art. Of course, this is not superceded my my cherubs (three of whom I'm involved in helping my daughter with). When I wrote to you, I was writing to you from Virginia, where they all reside. Beautiful country -- in the Shenandoah Valley (a mountain terraine). Now, for a little bit, I have returned to my residence, in Las Vegas, NV.

Well, you will have to give me some information to look at your website. I'm so happy for you!! Hard work reaps rewards. My MOM use to say "Idle hands make for trouble". Being creative, I couldn't imagine not being involved into something of creativity. I'm Blessed beyond words, and you sound like you are too. The longer I exist, the more I question -- How do people exist without faith. GOD is such an awesome GOD!!!

My name is Diana (alias--Diana QM), and I enjoyed reading your bio. I, too, feel very strongly that design is design, and that it is not worthy to be called design unless it is just that. I have studied all kinds of Beading, and still attend some classes, when I am home in Vegas.

"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" too. Amen! I mean that in all sincerity. Today I am reminded of how precious a gift life is to us (in Jesus), because my brother passed away this morning. Although I nudged him in the way of the bible, as he became older -- he was very stubborn. So, part of my heart is broken, and I have chosen to allow GOD to cradle it close to His heart (as He has in the past).

My beading has been such a gift to me, and He has Blessed me immensely. I enjoy all kinds of beading, and love to weave, and improvise wherever possible. I am also delving into clay, and enjoy studying all the concepts of design.

I was reading your bio, and it was very entharestine! I, too, enjoy George Winston, and jazz too. Actually, I am a Libra, and enjoy all kinds of music. My dad played a Mandolin, by ear. My parents were both Europeon, and that is the better, fascinating part of me (I have to say), My Mom was a Madeira Embroiderer, and always taught us, not to be afraid to try our hands at all kinds of things. She always would say, "The failior is not to try at all". When you stop to think of it, those words are pearls of wisdom.

God has been so gracious to me, and I am truly Blessed. He has given me a Blessing of creativity, and this has traveled with me through my many journies. I also am an artist, and am currently working at creating many designs. Have some nice beading friends, and we have alot of laughs when we get together. I studied with a lady, Jacqui, at home, and she was tremendously gifted. I enjoy Beadweaving -- N'dbele, RAW, Peyote, all all forms falling under that category.

How long have you been beading? I noticed that you have your own shop. How do you do with this? I am in the process of finally trustingggggg in my credentials. It's amazing how it gets you by the neck, or should I say (his nibbs). I am growing in the Lord, and He is so gracious to me. My life is so much more gratifying, since I became a real Christian some years ago. It is also tested alot more. Ahem!

I am currently visiting my daughter, in the Shenandoah Valley area, Virginia, and am helping out with her three (3) children. Being a GrandMa can be especially challenging! Ha! Ha! Jack is 10, Julia is 6, and Ashley is 4. Jack has ADHD, and Ashley is Autistic, so each day to me teaches me something new.
