First of all this site is awesome . I have looked high and low for videos to learn more about beading and well anything!! One night i was surfing the web and decided to try www.youtube.com ! Well to my surprise there are many many videos for we beaders!!!! I found different stitches and how to's and i even found a 3 yr old doing tubular peyote. There is also another place even better than youtube called www.firemountiangems.com . I'm sure you have all heard about this site. If you go to the main page and scroll down, look on the left side at the bottom. they have alot of things to help you learn. The best thing about fire mountain is they have a live chat if your stuck or need help finding something!!! I have used the live chat MANY MANY times!!! I hope this helps anyone that needs it and if putting this here is not allowed i will understand if it gets deleted. By the way I have been beading on and off for YEARS and i now have 2 grandaughters. I am teaching my 2 yr old gdaughter to bead with large wooden beads and fishing line. She has ADHD and to my surprise she will sit with me for almost 20 mins at a time to do this before she takes off running. The time she sits with me is getting longer and more productive. I wish you could see the look on her face when she finishes something!!! She looks so proud. So now when she comes to my house the first thing she does is go to HER beading box and starts putting up her very own workspace. I am thinking of doing videos on teaching small children to do crafts. So if anyone needs help with small children and crafts please feel free to ask. By the way i also have a 11 month old grandaughter that can watch also. She uses a skinny dowel and foam peices, her big sister helps her. Piperp3
