Now why should I have been surprised to see your name attached to this piece! It, to me, is so Egyptian (with the pyramids). The colors are perfect, and what also caught my eyes was the closure. Surely different! I really liked it! Have beaded with alot of friends, and some prefer the magnetic closures. Not!!! One of them, in particular, lost a gorgeous piece of work, while shopping. Your closure fits into my style of work, because it is something that will hold. The pattern on this one is very different too! Nice job!! I, too, like different. Just finished some off the charts bracelets for my grand-daughters back East. I like something that nobody else will have, and they (I'm sure) appreciate the fact that nobody has one like theirs -- like young teens! Ha! Ha!
By the way, have you ever tried the beaded beads. Made them some of those last year. My new thing is working with clay, and I found some great sites on that. They are not really too difficult either, and will save you some serious moola me. If you want to take a look at something worthwhile, check out Cindy Lietz website. She is tremendously gifted, and such a great instructor.
Lolo, You have to be a beadaholic! When people complain about all my beads, I always tell them, "It could be worse, visewise. I don't smoke, or drink, but do carry on (joking)!". Figure, that if that is the worse I can do, than there should be no complaints. I swear that artists are addicted to artforms. I even do stained glass, and pyrography (woodburning). Enjoy sketching images onto all kinds of wooden beads. I love nature, so there are all kinds of materials out there. I couldn't think of being anyone other than myself. Life is so entharestine, and (for me) I don't have time to become bored. Anything artistic, and I'm in there!!
Lolo, just to let you know -- you have a new fan. Ha! Ha! Like what you do with your creating. It amazes me that nobody picked up on your clasp. Very original!
