I happened upon a booth at a fair in Alaska. A woman I had known for several years was selling beaded amulet bags. I loved the intricate designs, the ability to get very creative with the colors. Nothing was set in stone. Plus the fact that she told me that it would not be something I could do. That set me on the path to try and get my hands on a bead or two.
