It is very therapeutic to see a project come together. The compliments from friends and family don't hurt either.

I love to bead on crazy quilts which is a new thing I'm just learning and I like to bead mandalas onto fabric panels.

In front of the t.v. I don't have a separate "studio" or work room and this works very well for me. My husband is infinately (sp?) patient with my various craft stuff spread around depending on what I'm working on.

Staring at a bunch of beads trying to come up with an idea to make jewelry. Turns out I don't make jewelry at all!

I'm a wife, mom, artist (sort of) and dog lover. I have been struggling with depression for ever and have tried every craft, self-help book, therapy in the book. I am just learning to accept I am good at some things and allowing my creativity to blossom without worrying about all the things that go with it, i.e. mistakes, "wasting" materials, disasters and most of all PERFECTION which is the bain of my existence.
