I bead because it is a pasttime that helps me to relax and express myself creatively. It is also relatively cheap to get into, unlike building model airplanes or model cars. Another reason I love beading is that I don't have to spend a lot of money to get new pieces of beautiful jewelry that's comfortable as well as fun for any occasion.

My lariat, which is currently in the making. I have spent 2 years on it so far. It might have been finished sooner, but life has gotten in the way of it being finished as of yet.
