beading,reading,playing with the monkeys and sometimes writing poetry(cant say its all that good but i try:) )

i love beading as it takes my mind off other worries.once i get into it the world around me just melts away.when the kids are in bed my ideal me time is to get my beads out and creat unique and one off pieces.im now widening my range and tryinng earrings,wineglass charms and things.not sure how it'll go but we'll see.i love the reaction of someone receiving something ive takne the time and effort to make for them.THATS what makes it worthwhile.i hope to have a shop online of some sort in the future and would love to make a living amongst my creations and beads.

at the moment its necklaces but ive bought the bits to start all sorts of others.

i dont have a favourite beading style.i go with what feels right.it usually works.i love to use unusual beads and want to try other items like buttons in my work.

absoulutly everywhere.theres colours and ideas everywhere you look if you take the time to look enough.

nothing is ever wrong.if it feels right to you,its usually the best way to go.
not got enough experiance really to add any others at the moment.
OH ONE TIP...buy old and broken jewellery or use your own and you can make some fab and totally unique pieces for very little cash.

even found some fab seed beads on a car boot once!!

well what got me really started was talking to an online friend who was raving about the new neckalce shed made.so she sent me some beads to get me started.i was online talking to her and was trying to make a long necklace with seed beads and some stripy beads,id got to the end after much struggling,only to pick it up to tie it and dropping the beads all over my computer and all over the floor.i was soo upset but determined not to give up.1 hour later the thing was redone tied and my nan loved it so much i gave it to her a a birthday gift ,along with a bracelet i made after.ive been hooked ever since.i look back and cant believe i struggled like that and still carried on.i guess thats obsessionx

im just little old me.fell that lifes too short to be anything else.
