I have always been creative and made something. I think beading is my very favorite thing. I love to make any type of jewelry and wanted to really learn how to do it well. I took my first bead embroidery class from Beth Craft at a BeadFest in Norristown, PA 5 years ago...and then many classes at several wonderful stores.

I tried mastering peyote well first, and then the rest made sense to me. I can follow patterns now.
I guess bracelets and earrings and original found objects are my favorites.

I subscribe to several magazines, take classes when available, internet, etc. I have learned so much also from the blogs, and projects that are so available.

Just try it, you will make something you or someone else will love to wear....it works!!!!

I moved from New Jersey where I had access to two wonderful shops and many great teachers to rural Illinois. I do not have one close now, so do most of it at home or at my sister's...we try to bead together once a week at least.
