Anything with lots of color and vibrancy. I love the way certain bright colors and different materials go together. Smooth and rough....natural and man made....bright and dark....

Something that is made poorly and tacky...or people trying to pass off something someone else made as their own....

The warm, sunny south in the winter.....oh yeah baby....nothing like southern Florida in the dead of the winter!!!

Comfortable clothing...like jeans and a t-shirt and I really love to get into my jammies at the end of the day!!!

I love to read.....but mostly I like Historical Fiction. So I can learn something while I am entertaining myself.

Soft rock and roll like the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen...oldies and goldies...yikes....I might be giving my age away....:0)

My all time favorite movie is "The Rose" starring Bette Midler...I don't know what it is about the movie but I just think it was sad and poignant....I also like old movies like "Gone With the Wind"...

Beading....beading and did I say beading??? I also like to create with paint, sewing and anything I can do with my hands!!

I find beading a creative outlet although it is quite addicting!!!
I have been beading now for several years and just recently got into polymer clay so that I could make my own beads.
I find working with my beads or with clay is a very relaxing thing for me. It is my 'me' time when I only work on beads and clay and not fix supper or clean the house...:0)
My hubby is so encouraging as he has built me a rolling beading station...well, not really built it but modified a table we had to work as a rolling bead station. He even found some small craftsman tools that he had and cleaned them up and polished the leather cases and gave these to me to use. He is the BEST!!!

Anything to do with beads is my favorite....I guess it probably changes from day to day...right now I am totally into the polymer clay and gathering up the tools and the necessary things to make my own beads.

I don't know much about the seed beads or the styles that go along with them, although I would love to learn and am open to anything.
I mostly like stringing projects with crystals and some wire work, natural stones and ceramic beads too. I love to make earrings, bracelets and watches. I love necklaces too, with all kinds of different materials.

Everywhere...catalogs....and magazines...in the catalogs I notice the jewelry the models might be wearing and if it is something that really catches my eye, I tear it out of the catalog and paste it into my 'creative' notebook. I keep a 3 ring notebook with notebook paper filled in it and then I can paste or tape my 'ideas' into this and refer back to it for some inspiration.

I think to have a place you can call your own so you can retreat to it and bead until your heart is content.
I don't have a room but a rolling beading table my hubby fashioned for me. He even fixed an Ott lite permanently on the table. I have a ruler across the back for measuring, plastic drawers under neath for holding wire and different beading necessities. We used a wooden remote control holder that swivels on the base for holding my tools while I am working. I can use this 'remote control holder' to hold my wire, my scissors, color wheel and various tools.

On the above mentioned beading table...I can roll this baby anywhere and voila....I can be beading in no time as I always have it set up.

I live in the western mountains of North Carolina and it is pretty rural. We do have a Wal Mart and that is OK for emergencies, but mostly I order online...I love Fire Mountain and Lima Beads, and bead shows. Once in awhile I will travel down the mountain to Michael's and buy some things there.

I saw a beautiful bracelet in a beading magazine that I had picked up at a sewing center. I thought to myself, I could make that....I have always been a bit crafty so that wasn't a problem. I studied this bracelet and got online and ordered my beads and materials from Fire Mountain and taught myself how to bead. Since that time I have made lots and lots of jewelry and I sold that first bracelet I made for over 125.00....now that is encouraging!!!

I am a very laid back person with lots of creativity. I am easy going and get along well with others...:0) I love to ride my Harley when I am not beading or working on any other project and I love my animals....I have 2 dogs and a kitty cat. I have been married to my best friend for about 22 years now and we have the best time together. I have a 10 year old granddaughter whom I love dearly and have fun with. We love to create with clay together. I love to garden and work with flowers and I am learning to grow vegetables.
